西南大学生命科学学院研究生导师马鸣介绍如下：

马鸣,教授,博士生导师 。2007年获新加坡国立大学博士学位
。2008-2009年在耶鲁大学医学院肾内科从事博士后研究工作，2010-2017年被聘为副研究科学家。2017年入职西南大学生命科学学院 。

马鸣实验室的主攻方向是“肾脏发育与肾脏遗传病研究”
。其研究成果在以第一作者发表在NatureGenetics(Article),ColdSpringHarborPerspectivesinBiology,PLoSGenetics等杂志上。2013年美洲华人肾脏协会就其在肾脏病研究领域的贡献授予了奖状(ChineseAmericanSocietyofNephrologyOutstandingTraineeAward) 。2014年获得美国多囊肾病基金会的科研基金(PKDFoundation)ResearchGrant-In-Aid。2017年入选第13批“青年千人 ”
。现主持国家自然科学基金面上项目。

实验室以小鼠 ，大鼠和斑马鱼为模型
，研究方向为：

1.囊肿病的发病机理

2.纤毛在器官发育和稳态维持中的功能

3.肾脏上皮细胞分化
