巩振辉，男 ，生于1957年4月
。1981年毕业于西北农业大学蔬菜专业
，同年留校任教至今。先后在西北农业大学 、西北农林科技大学获农学学士
、农学硕士和农学博士学位 。1997年晋升为教授
。1995～1996，2001～2002年曾先后赴英国格拉斯哥大学和澳大利亚国立大学研修分子生物学和分子遗传学。2004年8月赴欧洲考察植物分子生物学研究 。曾获教育部优秀年轻教师基金资助、陕西省优秀留学回国人员 、陕西省“教书育人”优秀教师
、优秀共产党员、西北农林科技大学教学名师和优秀教师等荣誉
。

现任园艺学院教授 ，博士研究生导师
，西北农林科技大学蔬菜研究所所长，西北农林科技大学蔬菜生物技术与种质资源创新团队带头人。

主要从事蔬菜育种 、蔬菜种质资源与生物技术等方面的工作 ，近年着重于辣椒
、番茄、黄瓜分子标记
，辣椒疫病 、炭疽病与作物的相互关系，辣椒抗逆（抗寒、耐旱
、耐热）生物学与分子生物学 ，辣椒雄性不育的研究与利用
，辣椒抗衰老与果实耐藏性，辣椒小孢子培养 ，辣椒组织培养与遗传转化，辣椒、黄瓜重要农艺性状的遗传
，辣椒种质资源的创新 。

承担本科生植物育种学 、蔬菜育种学
、科研专题、暑期实习 、夏菜调查
、秋菜调查等课程教学，为博、硕士研究生讲授蔬菜学进展 、园艺植物生物技术
、高级蔬菜育种学、蔬菜育种与良种繁育学等课程

。选育优良辣椒品种9个、番茄品种1个。与西安皇冠蔬菜研究所合作，将分子标记技术与常规育种技术相结合 ，选育出了我国第一份具有自主知识产权的抗根结线虫的番茄新品种金棚M6 、M158和M126 。
