Anotherstudy,areportbythink-tankDemosentitled‘GoodGrowth’,suggeststhatBritainisoneoftheworstplacestoliveinEurope.

Judgingbyfactorssuchashealth,housingandthejobmarket,thereportsaidthatonlySpainwasalessdesirablehomethantheUK.ThebestplacestoliveareNorway,GermanyandtheNetherlands,saidthestudy.

FearsofanotherBritishrecessionwillbereinforcedbyfindingsfromtheOECD,arespectedthink-tank,whichsaythattheUKeconomyhasbeenslowingforatleastsevenmonths.

Britainisnottheonlycountryfacingaworseeconomicoutlook,asalloftheotherG7industrialnationsaresufferingfromasimilarslowdown.
