徐立进 ，1969年生
，山东青岛人 。1989年毕业于曲阜师范大学大学化学系，中国科学院成都有机化学研究所硕士(1995) ，中国科学院化学研究所博士(1998)
。1998-2005年先后在英国利物浦大学 、拉夫堡大学和香港理工大学从事博士后研究。2005年8月加入中国人民大学化学系任教至今
，现为中国人民大学化学系教授，博士生导师 。长期来一直从事过渡金属催化的有机合成反应的研究工作 ，在不对称催化和绿色化学领域，有着丰富的经验
。已经在国内外核心期刊上发表相关论文60多篇
，其中被SCI他人引用600多次。

LijinXuwasborninQingdao,China.HestudiedchemistryinQufuNormalUniversity,andreceivedin1998,aPhDinInstituteofChemistry,theChineseAcademyofSciences.During1998-2000heheldatwo-yearpostdoctoralfellowshipattheLeverhulmeCentreforInnovativeCatalysis,theUniversityofLiverpoolunderthedirectionofProf.JianliangXiao.Afteraone-yearpostdoctoralappointmentinLoughboroughUniversity,hejoinedProf.AlbertS.C.Chan’sgroupasaresearchassociateintheHongKongPolytechnicUniversity.InAugust,2005,hetookupanprofessorpositioninDepartmentofchemistry,RenminUniversityofChina.Hiscurrentinterestmainlyfocusesontransition-metalcatalyzedorganicsynthesisandgreenchemistry.Hehaspublishedmorethan60researchpapers,whichhavebeencitedover600times.
