王海勋 ，1972年生
，博士，微软亚洲研究院主管研究员 ，中国人民大学信息学院兼职教授
，博士生导师 。2000年毕业于加利福尼亚大学洛杉矶分校(UCLA)计算机系，获得博士学位
。毕业后在IBMT.J.Watson研究院从事长达9年的研究工作 ，曾担任副总裁技术助理。2009年加入微软亚洲研究院
，领导一个研究小组从事非确定性数据管理及挖掘的研究，开发了概率知识库系统Probase以及分布式图数据库系统Trinity 。近年来 ，在数据库相关领域国际顶尖会议和期刊上发表超过120篇学术论文
。多次受邀担任本领域重要国际学术会议（如SIGMOD,VLDB,ICDM,ICMLA）各类职务，并担任TKDE
、KAIS和JCST的编委。

HaixunWangreceivedhisPh.D.degreeinComputerSciencefromUCLAin2000.HejoinedMicrosoftResearchAsiain2009,andheleadsresearchindatamanagment.BeforejoiningMicrosoft,hespent9yearsasaresearchstaffmemberatIBMT.J.WatsonResearchCenter.From2006to2007,hewasaTechnicalAssistanttoStuartFeldman,VicePresidentofComputerScienceofIBMResearch,andfrom2008to2009,hewasaTechnicalAssistanttoMarkWegman,HeadofComputerScienceofIBMResearch.HaixunWang’sresearchinterestliesindatamanagementandmining.Currently,heisworkingonbuildingalargescaleknowledgebaseforadvancedapplications,includingsearch
，documentunderstanding,etc.HaixunWangisontheeditorialboardofTKDE(IEEETransactiononDataEngineering),KAIS(KnowledgeandInformationSystems),andJCST(JournalofComputerScienceandTechnology).HeisthePCChairofICMLA2011,WAIM2011,andheservedasvicePCchairandseniorPCmemberforvarioustopconferencesincludingSIGKDD,SIAMDM,ICDM,etc.HaixunWanghaspublishedover120publicationsintopinternationalconferencesandjournals,andheistherecipientofthebeststudentpaperrunnerupawardinICDM2009,andthebestpaperawardinInternalConferenceonConceptualModeling2008.
