。淸代纪昀在《四挥全书总目提耍》中，把《山海经》列入子部小说类。茅盾在《中国神话ABC》一书中辩出：“《山海经》是一部包含神话最多的书” 。鲁迅在《中国小说史略》中 ，称《山海经》为‘“古之巫书也 ”
