Second,boostingtrade.Increasingtradeisthebiggestboostandthebiggeststimulusthatwecouldgivetotheworldeconomy,anditdoesn’tcostanymoney.Britainisanopentradingeconomy.Wewelcomeoverseasinvestment,sothisagendacanreallyhelpustocreatewealthandjobs.ThatiswhyI’mlinkingBritaintothefastestgrowingcountriesinthefastestgrowingpartsoftheworldandwhyI’mbackingsovigorouslytradeliberalization.Tradebarriers,protectionism,beggar-my-neighborpolicies,thesearethethingsthatwreckedtheworldeconomyinthe1930s,andtheG20andIareabsolutelydeterminedtostopthisfromhappeningagain.Today,wecommittedtokeepingmarketsopenandliberalizingtradeandinvestmentasameanstopromoteeconomicprogressforallandwesaidthatwewouldrollbackanynewprotectionistmeasuresthatmayhavearisen.
